The Process

The Process to make over your kitchen is relatively pain free, and not as invasive as you may think. Your kitchen remains fully functional for the most part with the exception of a day or 2 while we paint your cabinet boxes. The remainder of the work is done off-site.

A typical kitchen takes about 2 weeks from the day we take the cupboard doors until the day we bring back your re-finished doors, and hang them on the freshly painted boxes.

All doors are removed from the hinges, and hardware is removed and stored on site. If the kitchen is small enough we will proceed to pain the boxes the same day.

All cupboards are de-greased, sanded, Sealed with a highly adhesive primer, and given 2 finish coats of cabinet paint.

Any Gaps, holes, cracks are taken care of between the primer coat, and first finish coat.

All doors are taken off site where we can work on them with a bit more of an emphasis on the preparation. Although the boxes always need to have the proper steps to achieve a beautiful finish, the doors take the brunt of the wear and tear in most kitchens.

A similar process is taken on the doors, but the cleaning is generally a little more in-depth, and the sanding needs to be done perfectly to make sure there are no blemishes on the finish coats.

If new hardware is going to be installed and the drill holes will not line up, we will fill after the primer coat so the filler has something to bond to, and re-prime the affected areas to insure an even finish.

All doors are primed and 2 coated like the boxes and are given a full week to fully cure on our state of the art drying system.

Doors are wrapped in foam prior to delivery for re-installation.

Lastly all doors are re-hung and the hardware is put back on.

At this point you can start to fully enjoy the kitchen you didn't think you already had, for a fraction of the price of replacing it.
